The Fortress of Valor

Every citizen of Valor is allowed to speak to the King. He holds open court from noon to 6 in the evening. The fortress is very extensive, built by dwarven craftsman long ago. Its extensive tunnel system allows for the population to escape away quickly if needed.

After a while of just slithering around and getting stared at, Kiko finally found the palace. Just to his surprise there was a long line of people waiting right outside the gate. Curious of what is happening he went up to a local with his back turn and asked him. "What is going on here?" Kiko asked the man.

Without turning the man said, "We are waiting in line to see the king."

"I see." Kiko said in a low voice as the man turned around.

In a state of shock the man screamed at the top of his lungs, causing the rest of the crowd and guards to look their way. Kiko tried to calm the man down, but he had already ran off, and the guards were coming at him with weapons raised. Well this has been a very nice day. Kiko sarcastically thought to himself as the guards surrounded him.

Sonas arrived to find a snake-like creature being attacked by the gaurds of the palace. He asked a nearby civilian what was going on, but the only reply he recieved was "I have no idea..."

Sonas began to think. Snake man usually equals bad. The guards are almost always right. So, he began to use magic, enchanting the swords and armor of the soldiers:

"Fulcio Ignis, Fulcio Ventus, Fulcio Aqua, Fulcio Terra...

Fulcio Anima, Fulcio Lux, Fulcio Mortis..."

And began to dismantle the snake-like creature.

"Fulcitatum anuum, gomen, adrin, sabba.

Fulcio necum, necrium, adulia, anogota.

Fulcibil regra, in cymbalis, et orona."

Sonas felt faint, and a throbbing overcame him. This is the curse for being a magician. He fell to his knees and eventually, pulled himself up, able to make it just far enough away, that he wouldn't be involved.

OOC: i didnt kill you, i just forced you into a bad position (so that your main option would be to run away.)

also, i can edit, i thought that you had implied you were going to fight them.

OOC- btw, remember that when using magic, your strength can be severely drained. Always keep that in mind.

Kiko started to feel a bit lightheaded as the guards got closer. "Enough!" Kiko said in a commanding and booming voice, causing some of the guards to fall back a bit.

"I'm to request usage of the King's library. If you really want to fight then come on." Kiko said as he stood up right again as a cut started to open up near his eye and started to bleed.

A few of the guards started to look around to see what the other guards were doing. "I'm waiting for your answer." Kiko said irritably as they stood there not moving with their weapons poked at him.

Kyero, how the **** would you know the king had a library? You've never even seen this city before, let alone come close to this far north. Also, if I was a human and saw a crazy reptillian thing, I would kill it on sight, you need to make these reactions a bit more realistic. I'm just saying, crazy lizard thing in this setting = not really welcoming sight.

OOC- I spy on humans on boats. Duh.I think I mentioned it before, but I may have forgotten.
And besides, with people seeing orcs and all that other stuff before, not to mention the guards are trained, I don't think they should be flipping out of their heads. I mean, if you lived your life in a world full of chaos and death, I think you would harden up a bit.

OOC- Well, actually, most of them don't really understand anything about the war. Their all just scared out of their minds of a massive army that could take them over at any time.

OOC- If you live your days worried about a army that could come after you at anytime, it could mental strengthen, or weaken you. The guards are trained to battle against whatever they are fighting, and the people are running away in pure terror when Kiko goes near them. Most of them would probably know he could kill them really fast. So I don't see the problem. o.O

Well, still, its a bit odd. w.e, we'll see how this plays out.

Kyero, you cannot order the use of something that you have no rights to. Or at least, you cannot access them without overthrowing them by force.

Also, the gaurds are not going to listen to you, just because you are loud and scaly.

I suggest you run away, your magic and physical abilities have been weakened, and the gaurds strengthened. There are much more of them than you, and you are not omnipotent.

The people are not running away from you. In fact, they are assisting in every way possible to your destruction as this is most logical. However, you can assume the women and children have retreated to their homes, as it is realistic.

Your not gunna get in this easy. There's no way.

3. What would be the first thing you do if some random giant snake pops up behind you? Stand there and say hi?
4. I stopped at when I was shouting at them because I would rather have other people join in before I go around doing too much. =3=
